All sessions convene on Thursday afternoonand continue for full day activities, Fr iday and Saturday. The Gathering concludes with a dinner on Saturday night, with a special guest performance. Retreat enrollment includes instruction, workshop activities, field trips with picnics, and Saturday dinner.

Poetry Writers Retreat : Listening to the Land
Three-day retreat with poets Jill McCabe Johnson, Danny Sherrard and Abigail Morgan Prout, joined by authors Thor Hanson and Robert Dash. Poetry and writing workshops, immersive nature field trips, poetry readings, photography, time to reflect and write, and the cammaraderie of fellow writers.

Writers Retreat : Embodied Memoir
Three day retreat with authors Iris Graville and Debra Babcock convenes at the beautiful Lakedale Resort with indoor and outdoor workshop activities. We’ll explore craft techniques such as characterization, setting, scene, dialogue, and reflection to make you—your memoir’s main character—come alive on the page. Outdoor walks and yoga activities help nurture your inner voice and bring you present in your body.
